This is a speed-fixed version of the Cork early 1979 concert at the Opera House (see original info file bellow)
The original recording being - to my ears and regardless how precious this early recording is - hardly listenable, I thought it would be worth fixing the speed (and slightly the pitch) so that it sound a little better. The speed was obviously too high so I tried to correct that. I thought it made sense to compare its speed with a similar recording from the same era and from a low-generation material, that was the Tullamore february 1980 show which seems to play at a relevant speed
Nothing else was done to this recording, my skills are limited. But it is worth remastering, isn't it ? So if anyone...

Tracking remained the same
Quality is fair soundboard but given the age of the recording, this is a precious document of - so far - the earliest recording of a U2 gig. Still, this is U2's very first TV appearance, live on irish channel RTE.
